"What is going on here?! Let go of my son!" ordered Mrs. Salvador to save his beloved son who had been all round surrounded by the congregation that he must have been suffocating, though her words fell on deaf ears.
Just then, some ran to her, armed with their microphones and cameras.
"Mrs. Salvador,is it true that you are involved in drug trafficking?"
"Are the claims that have been spreading all over since morning true?"
"What do you have to say regarding all these?
Endless questions bubbled from every corner.
On the other side, Felicity and Rex watched the ordeal from afar.
"Please calm down everyone. Let's do this calmly," Mrs. Salvador started off," I very well know that what has happened has risen a lot of questions but all I could say is that we as the Salvadors are not in any way involved in drug trafficking. We are clean."
" But why have your names appeared there?" a certain wench curiously asked.
" That's what I also fail to understand but I am sure someone Forged them in that notebook. Sorry, I don't have more time as I have my businesses to attend to."
" One more!"
" Wait!"
" Mrs. Salvador wait!"
Yells filled the air but Mrs. Salvador went inside along with Rex and Felicity.

"F*ck! This is cracking my bones!" declared Bethany, unable to control her laughter full of life, health and strength.
"Have you seen their faces?"
"Of course. They're full of misery! This is even more fun than I expected!"
"Those devils deserve it!"
"And this is just but the beginning. I'll make them suffer in such a way that they will one day come crawling on their knees begging me for mercy!"she boldly said,a devilish smile plastered on her visage.
" We will bring them down!" Clark agreed as he filled Bethany's cheeks with kisses down to her neck.
"Enough now. I have to go to work and still pay the Salvadors a visit. I'm dying of seeing their miserable faces in person. Love you."
Bethany pulled away from Clark's arms, took her purse, and sashayed towards the door but as soon as she opened, two people,a man and an elegant woman went inside.
For a minute or two, Bethany stood rooted to the floor glaring at them.
"Who the heck are you and what do you want in my house?" she wearily asked, getting all sorts of crazy ideas of who they would have been.
By then, Clark was already there.
The light skinned kind of skinny lady took another step inside.
Clark went in front of Bethany to make sure no one laid a finger on her.
"Not another step forward miss!" he said ordered.
"Okay handsome boy. I've heard your appeal. No need to get furious. We aren't here to hurt you or your girl.
"Who are you and what do you want?" queried Clark.
"Bethany dear, come forward. You don't look good hiding there," uttered the lady, craning her neck to spot Bethany.
On hearing that, both Clark and Bethany were amazed that they took a swift glance at each other, their eyes wide open.
"Sorry miss. You must be lost. There's no one who goes by the name Bethany here," uttered Clark.
The lady convulsed so loudly that she could awaken the dead.
"Sorry," she said and went on laughing.
"Could you drop the act now Clark? It just doesn't suit you. I know you two very well. Bethany, aren't you also Lesley Derwood,or is it Violet Chavez now?"
Bethany was too baffled to even answer.
" Let's not beat around the bush. My name is Magdalene Glandes or simply Meg and with me is Harry Glandes,my beloved husband. I know you two must be shocked but trust me when I say that I am here for a genuine reason. We just wanna help you guys in your fight for justice. We are not expecting you two to trust us so easily but you can be rest assured that we are good people. We will be leaving now but you are free to contact either me or Harry. Here, have this cards. They contain our contacts."
Meg proffered the cards to Clark who solemnly took them.
" Bye,"Meg bid them goodbye and she left along with her so called husband.
Clark immediately locked the door.
"Jeeez, who are those humans?" questioned Clark.
"Who knows? How comes they know as that well?
And what do they want?"
"I also don't understand. This is so strange!"
" Clark,do you think they're trustworthy?"
" I can't judge on that since we have no simplest idea on who they're."
" I'll call either of them later as I should get going right now."
" Just take good care of yourself. I wouldn't be able to take it if something bad happens to you." Clark kissed Bethany's forehead and watched her leave in her car.

At The Flaming Dragon;
"I think I made myself clear when I said I am not seeing anyone today, didn't I?" grumbled Hugo banging the glass of vodka he was holding against the table.
"Yes sir,you did but I think this is serious as some cops are here," muttered the wench working as his secretary.
"What! Cops?"
"Yes sir."
"Okay. Let me them in."
"Sure sir."
In a trice, some cops, led by a skinny lady joined Hugo in his chic office.
" Hello,Hugo Salvador. I'm not here to chit chat with you so I'll head straight to the point. With me are cops as you can clearly see and we are here to close down this company of which I am sure you know why. Any questions before we execute our mission?"
Perplexed beyond description,Hugo stood on his lanky feet. Terror-stricken, his face turned pale as his eyes grew wider and turned reddish.
" No,you can't do that. Who are you in the first place and what do you have against me?"
" My name is Meg Glandes and I have a lot against you and your wrenched family! I'm going to bring all of you down! Officers, come on,do your job. There's no way we are gonna sit down and watch people like you succeed by killing our children!"
" Sir, kindly step outside as you are. Now!"ordered a cop.
Having no valid option,Hugo clenched his jaw and walked outside.
The cops left his office under lock and key and at the same time,Mrs. Salvador arrived.
"And what the heck is happening here?" she asked directing the question to no one in particular but just shocked to see the cops there.
"Mrs. Salvador, kindly go back as you came."
By that time, all and sundry working there was already taking their leave as ordered.
" How could you possibly chase me from my own company? I don't understand,"stammered Mrs. Salvador.
" This company is currently under investigation, that's why. Now it's our humble request that you leave. You wouldn't want to make this harder for yourselves than it already is, would you?" uttered a certain cop, showing up them their way out.
" Okay then. Let's see how far you can go. Don't you dare touch me. I know the way out. You will all regret this,I promise." Mrs. Salvador along with Hugo, having no choice left.
"Mom, I am sincerely sorry for all this," vocalized Hugo, hoping for his mom's pardon.
"We should be thinking of ways to make sure they don't uncover anything."
"That's under control. They'll never find anything even if they spend days and nights investigating. I sensed this and did the necessary."
"Okay. Play your cards carefully as one mistake can drag as down. We can't afford to make any."
At the same time Bethany was arriving at the Salvadors, Hugo and Mrs. Salvador arrived.
On seeing them, Bethany almost laughed to their miserable faces.
" Oh, Violet, you're here?"Hugo asked gleefully.
" Yes. I came to see Rex."
" Okay dear. You can proceed inside,"said Mrs. Salvador," We'll follow."
"Sure,"Bethany said and sauntered inside.
" Are you sure this lady is trustworthy?"queried Mrs. Salvador fixing her eyes on Hugo who was staring at Violet as she walked away.
" But of course. She is a nice lady. She has just developed a friendly relationship with Rex. They frequently hang out together these days."
" I hope she is not the snake and about her friendship with Rex,I suggest you stop eying her then. I just noticed your peculiar behavior as soon as you saw her. I'll go inside now."
" Violet!"exclaimed Rex as he scramed towards Violet, giving her a tight hug.
" I missed you so much. Thanks for coming."
Felicity gave them a dirty look and plodded upstairs to her room where she locked herself inside.
As furious as she was,she took a bottle of liquor and gobbled it down nonstop then hit it against the wall reducing it to pieces.
"Why can't you love me Rex? Why does it have to be her? Why Rex?" she yelled in excruciating pain.
"I have always stood of you and did everything to please you but not once did you notice me!" she continued as she laid down on the floor.
Truly, love is made valuable by the risk of heartbreak.
