[Daniel's P.O.V.]
It was my fault that the shop in Empress's Alley was still losing money after the recent major business restructuring.
There were many proposals submitted by the staff, but I wanted to choose a proposal for the flower shop.
There were few people in Empress Alley, there were many working-class residents, and flowers were not a necessity. It was almost impossible to make a profit from selling flowers.
As a businessman, I knew very well that this was a loss-making business. Albeit, I did it anyway. The reason was simple. I was homesick.
I was a werewolf. I grew up in the forest, but in the human world, there were many tall buildings, and the air was stuffy. I had not been close to nature for a long time.
So when I saw the proposal for the flower shop, knowing the loss, I still agreed.
