[Reward]
[Random Affinity]
Arriving at the Blood Mountain, the main headquarters of the Blood Demon Sect, Sirius flew up directly, reaching his cave abode in minutes.
Taking out a token he opened the formation that resisted intruders, taking a step inside the entrance closed.
Looking around Sirius admired the comfortable accommodation he was provided, instead of the bone-chilling cold he felt when he lived in the abyssal cave, this place was nice and warm with bright crystal embedded in the walls lighting up the cave.
The floors and walls were smooth and uniform, having been carved out by the previous owner, It had two levels with multiple rooms on both floors, with anything from living quarters to a library and refinement room.
"The architect of this place truly liked to live in luxury, too bad they took away everything from the library and the storage room"
Finished admiring his new home, he left after finding a room for Tania, heading for the 10,000 book pavilion, his first task was to find a cultivation manual with both Ice and Wood properties, which might be a problem as the Ice element was rare.
Dual element cultivation manuals were even harder to find, most people with Dual-element affinity would just cultivate two manuals separately and then combine their accumulated cultivation when breaking through to the Foundation Realm.
By doing this, the foundation would be stronger and more durable however, whichever element the cultivator was more inclined to would devour the Qi of the other, purifying itself. With the foundation set, the element would refine the mortal body.
Although this would not make multi-element cultivators more powerful than single element cultivators, it did give them more means of attack and defense while also making the foundation stronger for further ascension, unlike a multi-element manual which allowed the foundation to be built with both elements, making the cultivator have twice the power and a foundation as strong as the cultivators who used the first method.
Arriving inside the 10,000 book pavilion he was greeted with an endless amount of books, every floors shelf filled to the brim with books, disciples could be seen searching or reading on each floor.
Most of the books weren't useful to the average cultivator as they were either research notes on alchemy, blueprints for artifacts, various compendiums of common or even mythical beasts.
Some however had detailed explanations of the different realms of cultivation and the experience of their predecessors.
As for the books detailing techniques and cultivations manuals, they were located in the basement level.
Looking at the books Sirius wondered if he could level up appraisal by identifying all the books here.
Because of how the appraisal skill worked, he had to use it on something unique to gain progress to level up.
[100 types of mortal poison]
[Anatomy of the human body]
[Bloodline theory]
Most of his appraisals only gave the name of the book however, some seemed to be different
[The Pill making way]
[new Alchemy knowledge found]
[Beginners Manual to crafting]
[new Forging knowledge found]
[100 basic runes]
[new Formation knowledge found]
After appraising the first level Sirius stopped, noticing half his Qi had been used he went ahead and stored the books the system deemed useful and headed to the basement.
The hour he spent walking around the first floor had not only found him some new books to add to his personal library, it had also leveled up appraisal twice.
[Appraisal: lv 4]
Using his elder token he unlocked the formation and entered the basement, although the area was large, it was mostly empty, only a few shelves close to the entrance could be seen. Instead of books were slips of white jade that contained the information inside.
Although one cannot take out the items from the basement, as an elder he could make copies for his disciples, usually, the outer disciple who joined had their own cultivation manual.
As for the talented cultivators or children who were deemed suitable, they would be sent to the Demon Breeding Grotto, specially trained and nurtured they would instantly become inner disciples or disciples of the elders while the demon prince of every batch would become Blood Demons disciple.
[Violet Moon Sword Art]
Reading through the new Sword Art that was acquired during their most recent conquest, he was amazed, instead of an elemental sword art like his Liquor flame art, this technique was created just using sword comprehension.
"It appears Violet Moon was also a master of Sword Intent, this technique seems even more powerful than the Liquor flame art"
'With the system, I can master as many techniques as I want, I no longer have to limit myself to one' Thinking to himself he decided to memorize it, the more techniques he learned the stronger he would become.
Finished appraising all the manuals and techniques, he couldn't find a cultivation manual suitable for his disciple, however, he did find some techniques that she could learn.
[Ice domain]
[Wood Manipulation]
both techniques could be used for attack and defense and were only limited by the user's imagination, also having some details on specific attacks methods, every cultivator could find a new way to use the techniques.
After creating copies so his disciple could learn them, he didn't forget to memorize some of the slips about Alchemy, Artifact creation, and Formation mastery. Since they were kept down here they must contain valuable information.
'Maybe the system can also help me learn more occupations' With a smile, Sirius left heading back to his residence.
"Where am I" Tania once again found herself in unfamiliar territory, looking around the room, the walls were made of smooth stone and she was lying on a soft and comfortable mat, the room had a single shelf with no books, a table, and two chairs, looking to the door she decided it was better not to leave her room.
An hour passed and Sirius returned, his first destination was to check on his disciple, walking into the room he saw Tania meditating in the middle of the room, feeling the Qi naturally enter Tanias' body was quite fascinating.
He knew she wasn't using a cultivation method to attract the Qi toward her, instead, it was her body that naturally did so, sadly it was too slow, with this speed it would take her 100 years to advance to the Foundation Realm.
~ahem~
Hearing someone clear their throat Tania quickly opened her eyes, seeing a handsome middle-aged man, with clear skin and no facial hair, his eyes appeared to be covered in a mist, it was impossible to tell what he was feeling or thinking, finally his eye-catching silver hair completed his handsome persona.
Unfortunately, the image of his calm face when he killed overlapped scaring Tania when he appeared.
"T-Tania greets master" Tania stuttered as she tried to be brave and not show her fear.
Sirius noticed the emotions she tried to conceal, how could a 16-year-old girl hide something from an old man like him.
"Tania, I understand you are afraid, I will try to accommodate you but I hope in the future you will not fear me but sincerely accept me as your master"
Taking out two slips he handed them to Tania but moved them through the air, not approaching her.
"These are two techniques I picked out for you, they have an affinity with you so you can learn and practice without worries, unfortunately, I did not find a Cultivation Manual in our library that suits you, so I have will have to make a trip to a nearby cultivation city and see if I can buy one for you"
Grabbing the white slips that appeared to be made of crystal, Tania examined them curiously
"How do I use these?" She asked
"If you Inject your Qi into the slip, you will be able to see the information, start practicing once you understand the basic usage of the technique"
"I will be leaving you alone to acquire a cultivation manual for you, so stay in the cave abode, you may explore inside but do not leave under any circumstance, there is a natural water source in the next room and grain pills that can last you a decade, I will at most be gone for 1 month, when I return I would like to see some progress made In your techniques"
Sirius gave Tania a bag of holding containing the grain pills, a storage ring with 1000 low-grade spirit stones to help her replenish her Qi when cultivating, and left some words of advice to keep her from not wasting her time while he was gone.
