Synopsis
What would you do if you suddenly became the main lead of a play? And this isn't any mere Shakespearean parody but a real life play modeled to sate the boredom of a crazed playwright calling himself the Narrator. This is the One play.....The play for all but to witnessed by one. ***************************** On that note, I do beg of you once you turn to the next page we’re tied you and I, audience and narrator, author and reader, script and ink, If I stop, you stop, if I pause you pause, always vice never versa. Chapter 1 - Prologue

Have you ever felt like this life wasn't the one for you? Did you feel bored at what your future would hold? A nine to five job, a pretty house in the sub-urbs and a dainty little wife with three kids would be a dream for anybody but you.

You felt like something was missing didn't you? You know that instant feeling you get when something genuinely exciting is about to happen? The way the adrenaline rushes through you, the way your blood boils and your breathing hastens, you can feel the goose bumps decorating your skin, that slightly addictive but invigorating feeling.

You felt it now, didn't you? Yes that feeling although short, is extremely memorable. You wonder how good would it be to feel that everyday.

You played sports and got bored, you tried education and that was way too slow for you, maybe you even had sex? Of course that's amazing the first few couple of times but as all other things once you can predict how it'll feel or what'll happen next you lose interest eventually.

Reincarnation, the first time you heard that word was probably in church if you were a catholic at least, but that didn't interest you. In fact religion itself had little to offer you in the first place but that's a story for another day.

But that word really changed how you viewed death, you thought maybe you could escape it all you know, with suicide.

You remember contemplating it all for a long time, you even made plans for your death and how it would go, but all that happened in your head of course.

You weren't a coward but you did fear death, only idiots don't. You didn't want to gamble with the only life you had, you were bored not crazy.

Eventually you decided on a completely insane idea, 'If this world is boring then I shall bring the excitement here, why wait for excitement to come to me'.

The more you thought about it the more fun it sounded, a bit crazy but fun nonetheless. You loved theatrics and had a flair for the dramatic, but you wanted more than screenplays and recitals. You wanted, no, you needed something real, something that wasn't faked reactions and tomato blood.

You wrote a script, not for yourself or some big shot in Hollywood. No you went bigger, as your dad always said 'why think small when you could go big' and what was bigger than the world.

I don't mean metaphorically the world, no I mean every continent, country, state, street. I mean every person whether lawyer, police, doctor, beggar, and rapist.

This script wouldn't be played by mere actors, meh…that would be boring and you know me if it's boring it's better off dead. Why should actors spoil all the fun by playing fake and ruining all the great shows. Not to worry in my show everything is real, so no more fake tomato blood or acting dead.

Here we live and die by the script, of course I'm no exception but seeing as I wrote the script I have a greater duty to see it through, don't you think?

But again everything has exceptions, who knows someone may decide to make a better script than I and then I wouldn't be too useful alive would I?

So yes, we all have a part to play, even you. Of course I can't leave 'you' out of the equation after all what's a play without the main audience.

Right now you're thinking 'There's no way he's talking to me, that's impossible'.

Impossible? Non Mon Ami, don't think like that, this is the world of red curtains and spotlights, in my world there is no impossible.

Here I'm the narrator and you my wonderful audience, your experience validates my existence and without you this beautiful show would sadly come to an end.

So yes I mean you lying on your bed or sitting in the cafeteria or maybe you're even walking? Ok that's bit weird but no matter I'm not picky.

So folks, I introduce to you the first and only worldwide play with a singular audience featuring you, whatsoever your name may be.

So sit back relax and enjoy the show….

Ah before I forget there is one more thing. Although you are my only audience and you mean so much to me, rules are rules and as my dear father always said 'A man has to stick to his principles no matter what'.

On that note, I do beg of you once you turn to the next page we're tied you and I, audience and narrator, author and reader, script and ink, If I stop, you stop, if I pause you pause, always vice never versa. So no dropping out prematurely cause that would be boring.

And as I do always say anything is boring is better of …
