Mariano looked at Theo and in all seriousness asked. "Do you understand the danger of it?"
"I read files and I was told many things about your kind. I didn't listen much to my father and I just took everything I heard and was thought for granted as a kind of eccentricity of my father and my grandfather but now, with everything that I've seen firsthand, it would be insane of me to not take everything seriously, especially that my family's safety was being tested."
"I'm not going to save you if things go bad. My main priority is Iris and no one else."
Theo nodded and looked into Mariano's eyes. "Even my main priority as a watcher of the mansion is to have Iris's life above my own and my family."
