"Why did you have to come back?" She asked, seething in anger.
"Why I can't come back to my own house?" She asked, taunting her. She was twirling around in her swivel chair. Her hands were clasped together on top of her stomach.
Monette's nose flared in anger. She raised her arms and put them on her waist.
"You're so full of yourself! If it wasn't because of your blood, no one cares about you! Now and even before! Your family was like cattle, fed and fatten to be meals!" She said with a sneer. She was too occupied with her anger that she didn't notice the change in Iris's demeanor when she heard her talk about Iris's family.
Iris unclasped her hands on top of her stomach because they felt clammy. She gritted her teeth, her breath became shallow she had to stand up because breathing became painful. Her chest felt like a balloon stretched to its limit and could burst with a simple touch.
