"But sometimes, I don't really want those things. It doesn't feel good. It's like they are just put in my head. Like they aren't mine. "
Mariano exhaled a deep breath and tightened his grip on the steering wheel. He had his eyes glued on the road keeping within the speed limit but his mind was running at full speed beating every possible limit there was, wondering if he should tell Iris what he knew or if it would be best to let her find out on her own.
"Did Calixto ever put you in hypnosis before?" He found himself asking despite not wanting to. He didn't want to put an idea in Iris's head that could create strain in her relationship with Calixto.
"No. But I saw him hypnotize some of the people living in the mansion," she said with knitted brows.
"Why?" She asked if suspicion was on her voice. She didn't like the idea of what Mariano was trying to say.
