Mariano glanced at the backseat and saw Iris sleeping peacefully, hugging herself.
"No. But I need her. And since Iris was the one who offered it, Calixto can't blame me. I just gave her a ride."
"What made you think that Iris can help you?"
Love exhaled a deep breath. She looked at her phone and saw that Calixto was calling her. Ignoring her cousin's call, she glanced at Mariano.
"Iris has the skills. I don't know how but she got it. Believe me."
"How can it be? Iris is a Flora Sangria. And we both know that a Flora Sangria cannot be a witch. You cannot just be a witch if it's not in your blood."
Love exhaled a deep breath. "I don't know. But it's the only explanation for what is happening with Iris."
"And Calixto's mother cannot be the explanation?"
