Imagine waking up in front of a monster's jaw, what would you feel? What would you do?
It's been 1,499th year and 364 days if one based it on Earth's year cycle since Ken Kanzen crossed over an unknown land accidentally through a mysterious type of spatial portal dragging him out of nowhere.
"Today is the 1,500 years of me being stuck in this damned godforsaken place." Kanzen scream loud in frustration, his voice echoing throughout the vast expansive lands reaching tens of thousands of miles, something a normal human couldn't have achieved.
Kanzen was looking at the endless land of mountains and plains in front of him with a pair of cold indifferent eyes. Any sane being whose brave enough to get a glimpse of this pair of indifferent cold eyes that as deep as the space would feel like their souls were to be swallowed onto the deepest part of the abyss.
On the mountains a few thousand kilometers afar, if one were to look closely, they could see countless dots of differing sizes closing the distance. However, this insignificant looking miniature dots afar the distance were releasing tremendously heavy auras enough to crush a normal human flat just by its share pressure. These tiny dots were enemies, monsters and beast alike, terrifying creatures Kanzen has been facing since the first day he found himself in this foreign land of chaos and slaughter.
1,499 years ago bank on earth for some unforeseen circumstances or maybe the play of a higher existence or fate acting he was sent to this godforsaken land. He woke up from his bed and was about to head downstairs when a sudden earthquake occurred destroying his house. A small crater opened below his house, small but enough to fit a man accepting his death closing his eyes a portal suddenly appeared out of nowhere on the deeps of this crater. Once he entered the portal after being dropped from his house it shined so bright, he had to close his eyes and once he opened them, he found himself in this world which he called godforsaken land.
Since then, he had spent all of his 1,499 years in this godforsaken land, day after day risking his life fighting numerous types of creatures from monsters, beast, behemoth, demons, angels, spirits, abominations etc.
The very reason why Kanzen continuously called this place as a godforsaken land is because of its chaotic nature where it's either eat or be eaten, a land where the laws of the jungle prevails. Survival of the fittest.
If one wants to survive in this place you have to fight and protect yourself, and in these countless years he had killed an uncountable number of creatures each stronger than the other. That a mountain as large as the Mount Everest back on earth isn't enough to measure the countless pile of corpses that had reached the sky. These creatures who died on his very hand numbering more than tens of billions or maybe hundred billion, it's been too long that Kanzen had forgotten the exact number of lives his hands had taken.
It's an unforeseen miracle that he didn't go mad until this very moment, the only driving force for him all this time to continue fighting and living were the memories of his family back on earth. This family of his that he didn't know whether they were still alive or not. He didn't have the slightest idea on how the time dilation in different dimensions moved so Kanzen didn't know how long has it been since he had left earth. He continued to rely on his perception on the world to measure the time, days, weeks, months, years, centuries, etc.
Kanzen didn't spend all his time on fighting, he is an undoubtedly smart genius in multiple aspects mostly in studies. One day, just like any other day during his research to go home he was able to come up with a big theory of his that time dilation in different dimensions isn't the same. Likewise, he didn't base this idea on the novels he had read back on earth, these strange ideas born due to his confidence on perceiving the structure of laws and essence in the surroundings.
Thanks to this Kanzen still had a little hope he could meet them one day.
Kanzen looked at the numerous miniature dots approaching from the far distance with an unbothered indifferent eye.
Out of nowhere, on his back a huge spatial door opened up this spatial door was too huge that it covered the entirety of the sky behind him. From the spatial door thousands of creatures of differing sizes started appearing, they landed and quickly moving in a uniform action surrounding him in all sides.
He stayed sitting on the rock that had always accompanied him since the day he arrived in this land he wasn't bothered in the slightest he maintained his cold indifferent look ignoring the numerous tremendous auras targeted on him.
"Trashes really do take pleasure on dying don't they. For you lot to bring these number of insects in front of me, I couldn't help but be grateful for you're generous sacrifices?" Kanzen said in a soft yet cold voice still looking at the far distance.
Hearing Kent's ridicule towards them. Instead of the supposed anger that the enemies always displayed after being mocked by the prideful MC, the newly appeared enemies that just appeared felt a heavy trepidation.
Just from his mere nonchalant mocking words those who listened felt chills from their top to bottom. Hesitation and fear can be seen on the faces of the hundreds of thousands of legions surrounding him.
Seeing that everyone's morale had plummeted one of the leaders a humanoid veil female surely a beauty behind her veil suddenly release a dazzling bright crimson light. She transformed to her original form.
"Don't think too highly of yourself you monster, today in this land will be your end. We've surrounded the entire place, you have no way out" Said by the majestic looking red dragoness. She displayed her authority and might spreading it wide to encompass the entire place increasing the low morale of her allies and subordinates. Her majestic looking scales shown a lustrous shine, her golden serpentine eyes looked at Kanzen with extreme anger and pride. But if one we're to look closely and have a certain good quality on observation skills, they might recognize tint of deep fear on those majestic serpentine eyes of hers.
