Igram, who was still seated in front of the van dozing off, opened his eyes at the sound of an engine. At first, he thought he was dreaming, but the sound began getting louder and louder. It was heading towards him, and soon he could see the light from where he was seated.
For unknown reasons, he did not move. He kept his eyes fixed on the direction of the noise and light. He maintained his position, thinking it was all an illusion and that his mind was playing tricks on him. He sat there as a car headed straight for him.
Inside the moving car, the contact had his eyes everywhere trying to negotiate the difficult little road. He was now regretting using it as his vehicle was not equipped to handle such roads.
He made a small corner when his eyes landed on a packed vehicle with a person seated below it. He had to land on the emergency brake hard as the car came up inches from the other person.
Erica had her eyes closed when the car came to a stop.
