In the states, detectives Erica and Michael arrived at the hidden location where Abby and her daughter were being kept. They were allowed in after minutes of a thorough search. The FBI became very alert after the mayor's incident and did not want to be caught unaware again.
They were yet to make a conclusive report of what exactly the black stuff on the mayor's tummy was or why the agent took a shot but were open to anything.
Agent Brown received the two detectives and had a chat with them before they met the mother and baby.
