"What? What did you see?" The old man asked.
But Lucinda was in deep thought, her eyes fixed on Igram as she kept moving backward.
Igram smiled. He could only assume the witch had seen something in his eyes that she was not supposed to see. He somehow began liking his odd eyes.
Erica noticed the witch was no longer excited. She looked scared of something. But the last time she checked, Igram was not the witch but his mother.
"What did you see?" The man yelled. He was running out of patience.
"Can we talk in private?" Lucinda suggested calling the old man to the other room.
Erica looked in Igram's direction.
"What did you do to her?"
Igram joked, "Nothing, probably my eyes showed her either my mother or father snapping her neck in half."
Meanwhile, Fiona stood her ground and did not run away from Ezeldah. She did not sense any danger rather than calmness from Ezeldah, much to her surprise.
