Slowly but with difficulty, Erica opened her eyes. Every part of her body hurt. She felt like she had been hit by a truck. She tried to move but could not move her body. Her hands felt bound together, forcing her to open her eyes.
The room was a bit dark, but she could see a brown door and a grey wall staring back at her. She noticed her tied legs. She tried to move her arms again but they were tied and, to make matters worse, her mouth was gagged.
She tried to free herself, but the ropes were tightly tied around her arms and legs. She told herself to stop panicking and look around, but the wall and door were the only things she could see in her view.
Someone had drugged her and kidnapped her, but she had no idea who. It was obviously not the witch and her son, which narrowed her answer to one option, "The council,"
She began panicking again as she heard footsteps behind her.
"Finally, miss Harrison, we meet," the voice said.
