On the other side of the country, Igram sat on the table watching his mother panicking. He could see she was panicking and scared. It was the first time he had seen her in such a state, and he could tell she was not making any progress.
"We need to create a distraction," she said as she stood up and told him to contact the press.
Ingram got off the table.
"What are you saying?"
"We expose the council. The FBI investigating this case quietly is only giving that stupid cult an added advantage," she said.
Igram looked at her confused. He could not see the connection between them being bonded to a country by a witch and exposing the council.
"I think the witch that cast a spell on me is working with the council and they are directing their attention on us," she said.
Igram scratched his head in confusion. It looked more like pissing the council off than a diversion.
