Having taken their baths, Abby and her baby sat in the kitchen having breakfast. She was still confused and scared, but the man seated at the opposite table kept reassuring her that she was going to be fine and no longer kidnapped.
It had taken her a lot of convincing just to get her out of the room to join Igram at the breakfast table. He had to assure her that Pickford was not in the house and was not returning. To her surprise, when she walked out of the room, there was no sign of Pickford. Instead, the man with the strange eyes introduced her to his mother, who looked way too young to be his mother.
The mother did not seem welcoming compared to the son, but Fiona was only glad the monster was not in the house.
The mother walked to the table and joined them. She had a very uncomfortable stare as if she was reading her mind. That was forcing Abby to look away.
"Eat your food. I am not going to eat you," Fiona stated, realizing Abby was afraid of her.
