Back in the Santris coven, Ezeldah went straight to confirm whether she still had Fiona's hair. She locked herself in her chambers and began searching. To her luck, she found the strand of Fiona's hair in minutes.
She stared at it. She was not expecting to find it. It appears her lover was not that thorough after all. With the hair in her hand, she was now capable of ending Fiona's life without lifting a hand.
That was if Fiona's lover was not blocking it, she would have. But then again he was capable of blocking an uprooting. Could it be why he never took the hair? She quickly got up and realized her thoughts were making sense.
