"Mother, we need to help her now!" Igram yelled at his mother, whose eyes and ears were fixed on the two sisters. Melissa appeared to be using her situation to get her sister Erica to do her bidding and the detective could not see through it because she was too excited to have reunited with her sister who was lost for twelve years.
Fiona could not blame her, she too had just been united with her son and would do anything to please him.
They were both blinded by the guilt of not finding their loved ones sooner and now they were doing their bidding.
