"Pickford used to talk about her a lot," she quickly said.
The room fell silent. She was not sure whether her reply was making sense or not, but the two kept staring at her.
"Sometimes he would show me pictures of her... He never stopped talking about her. I think she was his favorite," she whispered, looking away as she tried to hold back her tears.
Erica quickly held her hand; "It's okay. "You finish up eating," she stated.
Micheal stared at her. For someone who had spent twelve years with a serial killer, she talked better and looked better compared to Abby, who had only spent two years with the animal.
She looked more like the favorite, especially since he even risked everything to go and be with her in Boscastle.
He cleared his throat and asked, "Was it only Abby that he used to talk about? What about other girls? Did he ever talk to you about other girls?"
Melissa looked up at him and only nodded her head.
