Second Mrs. Weng's face was unsightly, as she stared at her sister and questioned her, "Do you think so too? Don't you know how well the family has treated you over all these years? Are you going to let your son talk to me like this?"
Aunt Weng was about to speak, but she heard her son continue, "Treated my aunt well? Had that been true, you wouldn't have made her someone's concubine but allowed me, her son, to call her 'mother' instead of 'aunt.' Is this the Weng Family's kindness? To me, this so-called kindness doesn't seem to be much at all."
Aunt Weng looked even more troubled than Second Mrs. Weng, who then angrily exclaimed, "Do you think the family didn't try to stop her back then? She insisted on becoming a concubine against all odds."
