[There could be no way I would leave a door for you, my sweet players. How come you keep searching for the door while you have to cross the day like you cross a path? Seriously, I have to explain everything…. Buuut, it feels great seeing them struggle and their faces look pleasing.]
{Leave them alone. You don't have the right to do this. You turned a person into a completely different one. How can you do that? It's evil.}
[It's not. Lemme tell you something dear. You see, someone in that group asked for it. I just listened to his prayer. This whole dimension moves upon their fears and their guilts. The more you have, the more likely you will die. Regrets have also a place there but you will have to watch the rest to understand their places.]
{I don't want you to let me watch anything. Release me from my shackles. I want to be free.}
[This whole game has started because of you, dear. You cannot quit now. If I let you go, everything would be free. I don't want that. It makes me sad and bored. I am a pitiful creature, really!]
Elianna and Emmanuel walked back. Strangely, she noticed there wasn't any shadow anywhere. It was like the dimension was a free zone. But you cannot believe everything you see… A simple invitation got them all in this misery. When she finally accepted Emmanuel presence behind her and the knife in his belt, she remembered the corpse and shivered. She was confident the corpse was still there.
"Emmanuel, can we go to another classroom? There is a corpse there. It makes me feel scared and terrified."
"I don't think you will find it, because I was there before I saw you. I am really happy, you are well and safe. I will protect you."
"I don't even know you that well. How can you say that?" she stopped and faced him with her whole body. "How can you say you will protect me when you are in the same situation as me? How can you say you will protect me when you don't know when you will turn your back at me? I cannot trust, Emmanuel. It's true! I am happy to see you because you are the only one who didn't show me lack of kindness back in high school."
"Elianna," he grabbed her arm forcing her to look him in the eyes. "I am the only one between all the present in this game that is on your side. I will never turn my back at you. I swear. I told you I would come to you and I did. Now, I would never leave you behind."
His were almost hypnotic, forcing her to accept what he said and settle down her fears. It was dark and the moon was the only source of light. His features resembled the only of a shadow lurking around her. Her heart felt uneasy. He was weird. She took back her arm and nodded. She would act like she understands what he said and accepted them but she would keep her guard up. People always thought of themselves when danger lingered around. She was confident he would betray her once his safety is on the line.
It was still raining and it was until now that she noticed the rain. She went outside but she didn't get wet. She walked and felt the touch of rain against her skin but she didn't pay attention to it. Why didn't she pay attention to it? It was certainly raining.
She turned around looking through the windows checking if the corpse was still there. It was as Emmanuel said, there was no corpse shaped weirdly. Furthermore, there was no sign of blood. Emmanuel watched her every movement and assumed she was alright. He kept repeating he would protect her like a mantra. His possessiveness took a toll on him and he didn't want her looking at anyone but him. He would butcher anyone she took a liking to… He would…
"What's this?" she picked a picture that was just a moment ago in his pocket, or did he put it back? He wasn't so sure about it. "Isn't this our Principal? What's about the sacrifice thing?"
"He was a weird person indeed," he snatched the picture from her hands and tossed it outside. Elianna watched the picture fall down angrily. "It's not important."
"How can you say that? It's important. Everything can be a clue. We are in a dangerous situation. Everything here is for a purpose."
"At least, that man isn't good to know about. It's better to toss him down and kill him. Do you know what he was like? He was all sweet and kind to students but behind your back, he was scheming against you. Do you remember when he forced you in his office and started talking rubbish?"
She looked down, at her feet, thinking and trying to brush the memory away. She couldn't tell that to anyone. She was one of the many he put his eyes on and decided to blackmail. He had a good image and it was hard speaking the bad truth about him. He was a despicable man.
"I cannot have you thinking about him," he titled his head to the side so he could look at her eyes without having to move her head up. "I am sure if he was in front of me, I would have pushed him down the roof. I am confident about it."
"How did you know about that?" her tears were swelling in her eyes. "The man has died and I didn't speak of anything about it."
"I had a sister and she suicided because of him. When I saw you going inside his office with your head down, I knew what would happen. Believe me, if I had the power to bring back time, I would push him down the roof and watch him die."
"You aren't serious about that. How can you kill someone?"
"You need to put your facts straight Elianna. You are the only one I care about. If I have to, I will kill anything and anyone who means harm to you. Do you understand?"
"What? We didn't even spend time with each other so you can talk like this. It has been years since I saw you and the first time I saw after those years, it's in that stupid party. You are weird. I don't understand you," she turned her back at him and stepped inside the classroom while he watched her intently with eyes devoid of all emotions.
