Chapter 46 - World Announcement

As Captain Raku saw the battle dwindling at the Grand Canyon, he decided this would be a good time to make his announcement before they got too immersed in the long fights ahead.

"Take us to their moon," he ordered. The Rek'Nee workers behind him started channeling energy into the hemisphere, and the ship groaned as it pushed forward towards the moon, luckily, it didn't take too long, considering they were by Mars.

"Captain, the ship has arrived, awaiting orders," one of the Rek'Nee said.

"Very well, I shall give them a warm greeting," He said as he walked to out of the cockpit into the hanger toward the exit.

"Sir, why are you so interested in these humans?" Ren said while walking behind the captain

"Who said I was interested in them?"

"Ohh, I-i just thought with your actions that you were maybe interested in them."

Raku then stopped in his tracks, turning to look at Ren.

"I haven't tasted blood or smelled the battlefield in so long... I told myself not too long ago if I can find a race that was even minorly worth my time, I'm going," Captain Raku said as he turned back around to head for the exit.

Ren didn't follow him this time and turned to head to her lab.

As Raku reached the exit door of the ship, he pressed a few buttons on the side panel of the door, after he was done and pressed the enter key, the door slid open, exposing the empty void of space, and below was the surface of the moon.

The Rek'Nee didn't need to breathe to survive, so the pressure of space didn't phase Raku at all as he walked onto the surface.

Once Raku took some steps to get in the proper vision of the earth, he got down in a lotus position and started mumbling incomprehensible words as he started levitating slightly in the air.

Every Rek'Nee had the ability to speak to any species through telepathy, but what Captain Raku was doing only a hand-picked few were able to do, leaving them to have greatness in the future.

Captain Raku opened his eyes the next moment and began speaking to everyone on earth.

"People of this planet, this is a message you will need to hear, for your ignorance may cause you death."

"We've been monitoring everything that's been going on this planet for a few of your years, and I would have to say, you guys are very promising. I am known as Captain Raku, I come from a planet far from yours, and we are known as conquerors."

"But don't fret, for we give every planet a chance to fight for their freedom if they are strong enough. You've already met our pets, the Shebadoo. At this moment, you will have your hands full for the next several days, this isn't a one-off, they are everywhere preparing to hatch."

"You'll have a week after the last Shebadoo is dead, and then we will come down there to have some... fun. I usually don't give this opportunity, but I'm feeling generous and would like to host a tournament of sorts, your strongest 15 with our 15, If you win, we will leave and never return or interfere with your planet anymore. But if you lose, we will torture and enslave the whole planet until nothing is left."

"Now, if I were you, I would focus on getting stronger," Raku finished as he got out of lotus position and proceeded to head back to the ship.

Meanwhile, back on Earth, the once bustling battlefield where Wayne and the others were was now deathly silent.

"Did he just say these things are his pets?" Mystic said as he looked at the dead beast's bodies on the ground with a grim expression.

"Yeah, I heard that too, who the hell can control these things?" Duggar said with a nervous look on his face.

"That's what you guys are worried about?" Nina said with an annoyed expression as she continued.

"That Raku guy said there were more of these things, I can't imagine if we had to fight another batch of these things right after this."

"She's right, we need to find these things before they are fully grown, albeit it's still a bitch, it's still much easier than these full-grown things," Wayne said with a pondering expression.

"Alright, well, let's head back and regroup, it looks like everything is done here, everyone is leaving already," Duggar said as he started using his ability to levitate, but as he got a few inches off the air, a hand came out of his shadow grabbing his ankle slamming him down on to the floor, leaving everyone stunned with they just witnessed happening.

The next moment a figure slowly raised from the ground, now leaving the others confused as they knew who this was, but they were wondering why he was there.

Wayne, on the other hand, instantly felt his blood boil and his once-tired body felt rejuvenated as his adrenaline started to kick in.

"Nobody is going anywhere, especially you, son."
