It had now been 2 months after Bell has been staying with Robin. Bell and Robin was now currently in the forest looking for wildlife or plants to eat as they ran out of ingredients.
Robin was tagging along with Bell to set up a barrier around them while traversing the forest for food and ingredients.
"Miss Robin, how do I know what mushrooms are poisones or not?" Bell asked Robin.
"Hmm...based on experience, poisones mushrooms usually have spots on their caps. Well, usually anyway." She answered not really making Bell feel more about eating a mushroom being picked by her.
"Well, whatever you say, Miss Robin." Bell responded as he kept walking along with Robin in the forest.
After a while of walking around, they finally found one wild and ALIVE boar, which was just few feet away. They then slowly hid behind some bushes as they examine the boar.
"Do you have any ideas, Miss Robin?" Bell asked Robin for a plan to capture the boar succesfully.
"I have one, this. Spatial Magic, Cubric Prison." She used a spell that entrapped the boar in a cube-shaped prison that had little to no room for the boar to move a single hair.
"There, our food has been caught!" Robin said as both her and Bell come out of their hiding spot and approached the boar.
"So, how will we kill it without, opening the cage. I can't even touch it, or it might be negated." Bell said to Robin.
Bell and Robin had been running some experiments on Bell's body, and they found out that onlt Bell's right arm is capable of negating anything made out of magic, no matter how strong it is, he can negate it.
"Come on, did you forgot I specialize in spatial magic?" Robin asked Bell in a sarcastic manner.
"Oh yeah, I forgot." Bell answered not realizing it was a sarcastic question making Robin face palm.
"Nevermind. Spatial Magic, Hole." She activaited a spell as 2 holes appear.
The 1st hole was right next to her right shoulder and the 2nd one was inside the prison. Robin then took out a knife and pushed it inside the hole which was transported to the 2nd hole and stabbed the boar directly on the heart, as it squeels in pain until finally dying.
Bell was not phased by this by any means, his father was a hunter and his father usually brought him to hunt deer's to teach him hunting, just incase the father had to leave for a mission and is away for a while, Bell would take over and help the family.
"Well, were done. Should we go home now, Miss Robin?" Bell asked Robin as she nods.
"Yup, let's go." Robin responded as they began walking to the direction of Robin's house.
TIMESKIP
Bell and Robin were now sitting on the dining table eating the roasted boar they hunted earlier as Bell enjoyed every last bite of it.
"This is very delicious, Miss Robin! Just like the curry you made for me!" He complimented Robin.
"Thanks, this is just some simple seasoning. If you think this is delicious, you should taste the food at Zauber City's restaurants." Robin told Bell which made him curious.
"Are the food there more delicious than this?" Bell asked Robin as she nods.
"You got that right, Chef's there use magic to make very good food. People these days rely too much on magic just for the simplist of task, it's always much better to use your own hands and experience a home cooked meal, you made with your own hands and not magic." She said Bell as he listened to all of it and was happy.
"I agree with you, Miss Robin. This homecooked steak is really awesome. I'm sure those food at restaurants are not as good as this." Bell said as he continues eating.
"If you say things like this, I may fall in love with you, Bell." She teased Bell as he shakes his head no.
"Sorry, but I'm not looking for a girlfriend. I'm too young." He answered making Robin facepalm as the teasing attempt failed.
"Ugh, whatever Bell." She said as she continues eating.
"What? did I do something wrong, Miss Robin?" He asked her as she just sighs.
"Nothing. I'm fine." She answered as they both continued eating.
And so, they ate their breakfast with a hunt to start the morning.
TIMESKIP
Bell was now currently outside of the house, but was still in the vicinity of the house's protective barrier as he was sitting down on the bench, thinking about his sister and mother.
"I hope Lala is safe. She may have a huge magic talent, but I still worry for her." He said to himelf as she stares into the blue and clear sky.
"Despite what she did to me, I'm sure she's taking care of Lala." He said already knowing their mother will take care of Lala because of her Innat magical talent.
He then hears the front door open as he see's Robin come out of the door. She then went over tot he bench where he sat and sat down next to Bell.
"So, what are you thinking about, Bell?" She asked Bell.
"Just my little sister, Lala. I'm worried about her." He answered while looking down.
"Little sister? I didn't know you had one. What was she like?" She aksed him out of curiousity.
"She's pretty much the perfect girl. Kind, caring, A bit prideful and was born with a big innate talent for magic." He answered as he smiles how lucky his little sister is.
Although he wishes to have talent for magic and he would trade almost everything, but if the price was that both of his and his little sisters role were to change, he would rather live magicless instead of letting his little sister take the abuse and hardships of being magicless.
"Me and her were really close, we were inseperable...but I think after what happened a few months ago...I think she wants me dead." Bell told Robin his view on the situation.
"Your quite mature for someone your age." Robin pointed out.
"I get that alot. I'm the oldest and since my father already died, I have to be there for my family as the new man of the house." He explained Robin for his matureness.
And then, a quiet and awkward silence filled the atmosphere as Robin was was sweating from the awkwardness, but then decided to ask a question.
"Hey, I've been wondering, what were you doing back at the forever forest? You were jumping around trees and being chase by a Astralwolf." Robin asked as Bell look's down.
"It has something to do with my sister, but I rather not talk about it." He answered.
Seeing this, Robin sighs and decided to not ask any further questions as she just sat there right next to Bell, who was a bit bummed out from the questions she was asking. After a while of sitting down and enjoying the breeze, the sun started setting as Robin stood up from the bench.
"Well, look's like the sun's setting. Let's head inside now." She suggested to Bell.
"You go on ahead, Miss Robin. I want to stay here for a while." He said to her as she just shrugs and goes back in.
Robin isn't exactly worried about Bell, seeing he has the power to cancel out anything made out of magic and the barrier she has set up around the area. Bell can't be harmed even by a single mosquito.
[WITH LALA]
Lala was now currently in the training grounds of the village where the young children with Innate magic talent are trained by professional magicians who decided to settle in the village after their job from any city.
Lala was currently practicing her fire magic as she was adept to it. All magicians can learn any type of magic, but in birth, they are adept on one of the types of magic, making them much more easier to learn or teach that specific magic on the user.
"Fire Magic, Flaming Bullet!" She chanted as a concentrated flames were fired at the dummy and when it hit the dummy's exploded, leaving only the stick that held it up, visible.
"Yes! I finally did it! I activated a Class-D spell!" She yelled in happines.
Spells are often classed by the 5 starting letters on the alphabet with the Class-E being the lowest and mosty being used for minimal help on house chores and then Class-A spells that are said to have the power to destroy a whole city.
"Woohoo! I'm so proud of you, young Lala." Someone said behind her.
Lala look's back to where the voice came from to see her teacher. her teacher or intructor was a red-haired female magician who was in her early 30's. She specializes specifically in fire magic, which makes her the best teacher for Lala and her Highest spell is at Class-B, enough to destroy atleast a whole village.
"You really think so, Miss Nika!?" Lala asked her instructor.
"Ofcourse, you might even be able to use Class-A spell's when you get older." She complimented Lala as she get's flustered.
"Ge-gee, thanks, Miss Nika." She thanked her.
"Hehe, don't mention it." Nika said to her student.
TIMESKIP
Lala was now currently inside of her house with Nika as she invited her over and her mom was currently out and went to the mayor's office to officially remove Bell's citizenship to the village.
Lala was eating her food as both her and Nika were sitting on the dining table with dinner for the both of them and some leftover for Lala's mom, bur Nika doesn't eat.
"Huh? Miss Nika, why aren't you eating? Aren't you hungry after our training session?" She asked Nika as Nika shakes her head no.
"No, I'm just curious." She revealed making Lala curious about what she was curious about.
"What's it about, Miss Nika?" She asker her.
"Well, it's just that, whenever I come over and train with you, you always ask to teach you powerful spells. I am curious why." She answered making Lala a bit confused.
"Curious about what exactly, Miss Nika?" She asked Nika.
"I'm going straight to the point. Why do you want to be stronger? What's your reason for wanting to get stronger?" Nika asked Lala as Lala looks down with a sad expression.
And then, silence took over the home as the atmosphete changes from a welcomed meal to a awkward silence, but it was broken by Lala.
"I-It's because of him..." She answered making Nika tilt her head.
"Huh? Who's him, young Lala?" Nika asked Lala as Lala grips on her clothing.
"I want to beat him. I want to beat my big brother." She answered.
"Is your brother a powerful magician?" Nika asked Lala.
"No, he was born magicless." She answered shocking Nika.
"It's because, he left us and mom here to go Zauber City for unknown reason." She explained to her.
Hearing this, Nika felt empathy and sadness towards and from the little girl. Seeing the one you looked up to leave you is a hurtful feeling.
"Miss Nika, let's not talk about him please..." Lala suggested to Nika.
"Ye-yes, young Lala." Nika said agreeing.
After that, Lala goes back to eating as Nika decided to eat along with her as well. The atmosphere was still rather awkward and tense, but was broken when Lala started talking to Nika about her progress in magic.
[WITH BELL]
It was now currently nighttime, Bell was laying down on his bed in his room that Robin made for him as he extends his right arm to the sky.
"If mother knew about my negation powers, would I still be in this situation? Is this the power I get in exchange for magic?" He started asking.
After a while of examining his right arm, he decided to finally put it down and get ready for good night sleep.
'Lala...I hope your okay.' He thought in his head as he drifts off to a slumber.
