After exiting the cave only thing that guys could see was dense forest. Sun was still shining, but tree crowns obstructed its rays to reach the ground.
"Well camping always seemed fun" - Sandro said.
"Aha if only we knew anything about that"

With small nod brothers proceeded to walk forward.
"So, we have no idea where we are, where we are going and in which direction we must go?" - Spoke Saba after few minutes.
"$Pretty much and it's boring here, I'll go sleep$"
"#Also we have no idea how ecosystem works here, if we take ourselves as an example magical animals and humanoid species should be at best rare and at worst the common thing#" -Snaky chimed in.

unexpectedly weird sound occurred.
"What is this?" - asked Saba
"Amm I think we should find something to eat, I'm hungry as hell" - Sandro said with a bit embarrassment.
"Bruh, Its not even been an hour since we woke up"
"Annd? More weird is the fact that you are not hungry"
"Well now that I think about it.. before we moved to surface I felt a bit uncomfortable, but as soon as we were out I felt better. Sun feels nice here for some reason"
"#Well... it is meaningless to think about it for now, firstly we need to find food and some water supply. It would be wise for us to observe some animals firstly, what they eat, where they go to drink or how they hunt.#"
"I mean... sounds reasonable enough, we can find out which plants are poisonous and which are not. Solid plan snaky" - said Sandro
Sandro went to the nearest tree and started hitting it with bare hands, He was curious to what limitations his body had.

"Heh brother. What are you doing? Speed running minecraft? did not know you were one of the cultured ones" - said Saba

"Wait I think sun was still up there when we walked out" - exclaimed Sandro

"Looks like I'm hungry too, how about we stop this and try to find something to eat" - Saba said with charm of cheese merchant.
Sandro rolled eyes and proceeded to walk in random direction with a bit more speed.
"Why are you running?" - Saba shouted with one hand extended.
"# Pff.. Why did I hear it with an accent #"
Saba caught up with Sandro soon and looked at him with suspicious gaze.
"What? You think only we have night vision and good hearing? Someone or something will check on that tree, better be out of way until we get more info on this world"
"Bruh, then why in the name of God did you break that poor tree? Admit it you were not thinking with proper head" - Saba said with narrowed eyes - 'Pretending to be cool headed and acts like fukin barbarian'
"Well unfortunately I have one head for thinking and yes I wasn't thinking" - He said with such conviction and smugness that other went speechless.
"# Your brother is weird, man #"
Dumbfounded Saba looked at Snaky - "As if he is not yours too"
"# I'm newer addition so... #" - Chuckled white one.
'God damn am I really schizophrenic?' - Thought Saba to himself.
'#$ WHAT DID YOU SAY? $#' - Outraged voices sounded in Saba's mind.
After good old facepalming and muttering 'whatever', he continued his run with Sandro.
Some time later and with 'mostly silent' jog brothers found really wide tree, it seemed like oak tree.
"Seems good place for small hideout, what do you think?"
"The problem is there is no hollow there" - Saba mentioned.
"Let me take care of that, but I don't work for free. Go get the food and water" - Sandro said and moved to create small living space in the tree using his finger nails, well more like claws.
"Really man? Even now you want me to go after food? Why don't you do that and I'll make nice space" - Saba said with some unsatisfied voice.
"Well first of all I have claws and you don't and second of all your vision is lot better than mine for hunting and scouting. Plus more you try to use it more control you will gain"
'#You know what? He has a point#'
"Okay okay, fine I'll do it" - Saba grumbled and left.
After Sandro made sure Saba wasn't around he sighed with relief and turned to huge tree.
"Finally some peace, now time to work"
Sandro started making some outline for hollow on tree trunk. - "Impressive sharpness, it's as if I'm carving with sharp knife on butter. Hmm lets try like this..."

Saba moved between the trees with impressive speed, while trying to activate his X-ray vision. Unfortunately all he accomplished was bluish light pulsing from his dark red eyes.
"Damn, why is it hard to do all of the sudden?"
"#Clam your tits man, just focus on running for now. We need to gain some distance from him or his loud banging will leave us without food #"
Saba looked at his new head with frustration, but said nothing.
After several minutes, he found relatively secluded place and stopped.
"Okay, lets see what we can do. By the way Snaky do you have heat vision?"
"#Heat vision? Why should I?#"
"-_- really? you are snake for the fucks sake. Do you have it or not?"
"#Even if I have one what do you expect me to see while you constantly release heat and light? You are like flashlight pointed at my eyes#"
"I see, so what we got. I can't turn on the x-ray and your heat vision is useless and all of that because I can't control my own damn body." - Saba said with big sigh.
"#Whatever, just focus. We need food and fast because your brother looked at me weirdly#"
"Ahhh Don't tell me he became gay"
"#No for love of god, he is hungry and you are crazy for talking to yourself... look let's focus on ourselves maybe.#"
After small banter Saba decided to focus and closed his eyes. Little by little everything around him seemed to disappear. Soon he sensed something weird in his body, as if there was something more to his blood
'What in the bloody hell is this suppose to be? Ki? Mana?'
'#I do not know man, I am not a doctor#'
'Well if it's normal novel, you just circulate your power in some way... Well lets give it a shot I guess'
Saba tried to understand and play with his newly gained powers. He tried various ways to gain any significant information that could help him understand his power.
"# Wait huh? what is going on... why are you shining? Wait are you even awake?#"
"#WAKE UP#"
Snaky tried to wake up Saba with no luck.
"# WAKE THE FUCK UP SABA!!! WE HAVE CITY TO BURN!!!#"
"Wha? Why are you screaming?" -Saba moved eyes warily trying to see what was going on.
"#I meant we are burning trees, look!#"
After looking around Saba finally saw that tree he was close to was up in flames and ground within small radius around him was reddish already.
"The hell? What is going on?"
"#No idea but whatever you did cut it out#"
Saba concentrated again and after few seconds his body's released heat dropped to previous level.
After that he sighed in relief and opened eyes again.
"Well experiment wasn't exactly successful, but I learned something"
Saba stood up, closed his eyes again and concentrated on energy in his body and tried to redirect some of it to his eyes, while thinking about his X-ray vision. In a few seconds he opened eyes and lo and behold he did it.
"Well kind of blurry, but can't complain, I guess"
With sinister chuckle Saba walked forwards through flames to find his first prey.
