After Ryan left the place of destruction Raptor appeared and witnessed the aftermath. He smirked and said "Fool."
Raptor waved his hand and the scene completely changed. The previously destroyed region returned to 'normal' as barbarians and other ranks of devils appeared.
They looked at the sky and immediately bowed in respect. They did not know what was happening as they were kept in a dimensional lock that protected them from any kind of threat. Dimensional locks were an ability that allowed the user to keep the original counterparts of the terrain and beings to remain hidden.
Raptor laughed out loud as he said "That guy is more impressive than I thought. To think the core would choose him as the protector."
Ryan was not there to witness this or else he would have gauged his eyes out. Raptor also used illusion magic that far surpassed Ryan.
Raptor didn't consider Ryan to be so important but his actions made him think otherwise.
