Elijah was standing while looking at the bright sky in Tokyo. He was waiting for Ryan to join them but he disappeared for two days straight. Elijah's group was ready to move out at any time. His disappearance gave them enough time but Ryan was late for the first time in his life.
"Did something happen to him?" Kaede walked behind Elijah and pulled his shirt gently. She was worried to see a stoic expression on Elijah's face who can never keep his mouth shut.
"No, that guy cannot die," Elijah said in a manner that his faith in Ryan exceeded impossible bounds.
"How can you be so confident? The world we live in is dangerous. We don't know what will happen next." Kaede was irritated to see that her boyfriend has more trust in his friend than her. She knew that Elijah would never say the same about her.
"It's not confidence. I believe him more than any God or natural law." Elijah turned around with a smile.
