I walked around in the bright forest despite the absence of our star. I saw birds chirping which sounded very cute. Birds went extinct after the Cataclysm but now they are back on our planet. Everything is starting to change even though we still are amidst a war.
We are given a month of training while the planet finishes its evolution. Many extinct species were being brought back every day.
Soon, we might even see prehistoric animals like the sabre tooth tiger. These tigers went extinct long before the Cataclysm due to climate change.
Of course, anything that comes back is sturdier and more adaptive than it used to be in the past. One such example was the Kaua'i 'o'o bird. These birds went extinct because of predators but now they are faster and more clever than before.
I realized that no one was giving attention to these creatures because they were already preoccupied with many things.
