"Joey, wait for me." I heard my friend's voice behind me.
I looked around and found her rubbing her arms. She must be feeling cold.
I took off my jacket and put it over her shoulders. The cold air tingled my skin but it was nothing I couldn't handle.
"Thank you." She said with a bright smile on her face.
"Isn't this beautiful?" I said while I looked up to see the trees that were glowing green.
The leaves of the trees suddenly lit up an hour ago. I was sleeping at that time but when I woke up everyone was moving around decorating our camps.
I asked them what they were doing and it turns out today is Christmas eve. I can't believe that the festival was being brought to life right before my eyes.
"Yes, I have never seen trees that glow up during the night. There is no darkness here." She said while touching the tree trunk which had crack-like designs running down.
