I decided to tell them a story about my childhood when we still were innocent kids who didn't know the bad side of the world. The story was nothing special and was just a way to make them laugh.
I kept talking as I showed them the pictures of my childhood friends. I carry them with me as a reminder that evildoers do not differentiate between kids and adults. In their eyes, everyone is prey ready to fall into their quagmire.
"There is no way you were good at soccer. You just said you were fat before your pubescent years." Elliot said with a smirk.
"My sister and I were born stronger. Even Ryan, who had good genetics was unable to outrun me." I said calmly.
"Olivia was like that too?" Iseul seemed surprised and asked without much thought.
"Yes! That was also the reason I didn't have friends. They were all weaklings." Olivia's cold voice erupted as she jumped above from the ground.
