Before my eyes, a golden aura exploded and swept past my subordinates. We were all happy that we were successful in our mission.
Our platoon leader sent us on a mission to capture the wife of the army head of our enemies. We were also told that his wife was a normal human and didn't know how to fight.
Then why is she strong?
A golden spark flashed in the darkness and the screams of my people reached my ears before they were subdued by her.
Argh–!
A scream erupted from right beside me but before I could jump back to defend myself, a sudden cold embraced my neck.
Woong—-!
*THUD*
I heard the sound of something falling on the ground but it didn't take long for me to realize that it was my head.
My life was so short that I am not even sad.
