Cynthia was back in the new association building and was currently at the office of the CEO.
She was standing before a woman who looked cold and aloof.
"Cynthia, I want to know what happened to your dad." She said with a calm demeanor.
"He got killed by my master." She said without any hesitation.
The woman on the seat of the CEO was none other than Cynthia's mother, Aurora Huxley. She took the position of legal head after Rudolf's death.
"This would have happened sooner or later." She sighed in exhaustion. Being the new leader was a heavy task for someone like her who stayed at home most of the time.
"Mom, Did you ever love him?" Cynthia asked with hidden sadness in her eyes. She was not feeling bad for her father, instead, it was her mother.
"How could I ever love a man like that? He was poisonous to my planet." Aurora resented Rudolf from the bottom of her heart.
