Chapter 146
The afternoon hospital visiting hour had passed without anyone being allowed to enter the intensive care unit owing to the frantic efforts that were being made by the medical practitioners to resuscitate Jilian to full consciousness and their passionate efforts had gone a long way in that expected regard.
"Where am I" Jilian went on a monologue of wonder upon regaining her consciousness.
She could not understand why she was surrounded by men dressed in blue and white. She looked around herself and discovered that her body was connected to wires running to machines that had green graphical signals. Her regained conscience told her right away that she was in a hospital but she absolutely had no clue about how that had come into being.
"Jilian! Jilian! Can you hear me?" loudly uttered her assigned doctor upon realizing that she had wiggled out of the fatal condition.
