"Morning boss" yelled James as he approached Jason.
"Good and you" he responded as he jumped into the bakkie.
He had no time to wait for his response. In an act of ego, he reversed the bakkie that was already running frivolously. The look that James threw to Bridget as she walked to her quarters was a leading indicator that was in line with the calling out of his name. He really looked concerned but there was nothing he could do other than cast himself into wonder. He knew pretty well that the earliest source of public transport from Greylands only arrived in Manburg at 9 o'clock thereabouts. In a state of belittlement, he looked as if his young superior from the other site called the shots.
