Chapter 119
Jordan who had been impatiently on cruise control had arrived in Greylands and had booked a facility at Highway Hotel. For the very time in a long time, he would not be putting up at Dephine's apartment. He had no choice but to drive there since she had not replied to all of the messages Jordan had sent that day. She had also muted his calls and that added insult to the Jilian injury. She was surprised to see him standing by the doorway of the apartment upon peeping through the wooden door lance. As much as she had been unresponsive to his communications, she felt that the apartment purchase pledge he had made as the closure was not a matter her emotions were supposed to stand in the way of. As she did every time he visited, she took to her bedroom soon after opening the door.
"We can talk in the bedroom; I was about to sleep" she coldly broke the silence that had been phenomenal with both of them.
