Upon reaching the corner of the street, he realized that Delia had since vanished from sight. He pressed his accelerator deeper in pursuit of her but her vehicle was nowhere to be found. He knew it that she had been offended and had gone on a demonstration of her own mode. He could not blame it on Bridget either for it did not need one to be a rocket scientist to tell that the faithful teacher was still licking the wounds of her humiliating and depressing experiences in Redbury. His mind revisited the work that he was supposed to carry out at the stands. As he wandered his thoughts, he inevitably thought of Jilian's bold vow to assist him as far as the construction of his house was concerned.
"She can assist me; she deeply loves me too. Yes! She said she can do anything for me" he went on a hopeful monologue.
