Chris could not get enough of the great sense of exhilaration Jilian's invitation engendered. He was to assist her with relocating the BMW. That being the case, he had the audacity to not only chat with Gloria throughout the 140 km long journey but also get to know the newly acquired Zonex mansion. He was to drop the weekend duty crew first at 07:30 and with Jilian and the trailing furniture trucker scheduled to leave 30 minutes earlier that probably meant something more. The only hindering factor would be Jason, little did he know that the General Manager was then part of the relocation mix upon Jilian's insistence that he drove her Toyota bakkie whilst she got behind the steering wheel of the lavish Merc. A short and concise message from Delia that very morning was then haunting his thoughts as her phone could not be reached thereafter. He had not gone through his call history to notice something clandestine had transpired under his nose.
