Chapter 18 - SEXY FASHIONISTA

Chapter 18

Delia was a born fashionista. She had an exceptional pick for trending outfits. Her rocking of blue cowboy wranglers, tan hiking boots that were colour-coordinated by a brown straw hat that permitted her long braids to flow elegantly downwards, had not only caught the attention of the JCC crew but also caused her husband's boss some bottled chest pains. Unlike Jilian, she had no idea how her bedroom competitor looked like. Jason had only referred to her as his boss but she had neither visited her social media platforms nor bothered to explore about her to have a hint of how she looked like. In all honesty, Delia had a very beautiful face that left most men dazzled. Despite not having had a big booty and conspicuous heaps, she had an eye-catching bosom and a catwalk physical appearance to send attention-drawing waves to whoever gazed at her. That coupled with her taste for exquisite fashion rendered it game on against any odd.

Jilian could not hide her frustration as signaled by the way she immediately tried to divert the attention that had been directed to Delia. She could not even give them a chance to settle as her envy invited a whim.

"I have been waiting for you Jason, can we talk inside?" she spoke in a bossy manner as she stood from her camp chair heading into the house.

She did not give Jason the opportunity to respond as she swung her big buttocks and well-curved heaps challengingly.

"Let me hear what the boss got to say" she spoke to his wife who was being ushered to one of the vacant seats by Chris.

"No worries darling" she responded as she sat down.

She had not seen Jilan before but the boastful body language she exhibited made her jump judgmental conclusions about her. It was nowhere near any faint suspicion of what was happening outside work matters but related to her behaviour and attitude. She had flaunted her bums and heaps in a provocative fashion, let alone shrunk her facial look with an intention of despicability. Delia was not boggled that much as she knew that most women had a knack for outshining each other. Her bums were more than 5 times hers, but that exaggerated catwalk spoke volumes of something fishy. She had not the slightest of clues, and could not have suspected given that she was seated next to someone whom strangers could presume was her boyfriend or husband given their uninhibited body language. Paul who had made it for the party earlier than the starting time and most of the attendees had taken one glass too many of gin and tonic and was already in a world of his own. The party was to officially start in an hour and half thereabouts but most JCC employees who often spent their Friday evenings at Redbury's council bar owing to sales of cheap alcohol could not wait for 6 and were already drowned in the concoctions before the proceedings.

"You have a very beautiful wife Jason" she complimented Jason.

"Many thanks" he replied tepidly.

"But she has to know that there is Jilian," she said drunkenly.

Jason could just shy away from that line of organization upon seeing that aunt Gloria had cast a talking eye to both the two of them. All of a sudden, a burst of loud sound threw the place into a very big buzz and instant frenzy. The D.J. who had been setting his equipment was now on a roar. Loud cheers and whistles could be heard as tipsy and those who had been taken quick like Paul went wild upon the belting of David Guetta's party mix.

"I don't wanna keep you long, I have decided to reward all of you with a performance bonus. I have requested the Financial Manager to deposit an equivalent of your monthly earnings to each and every JCC employee. The electronic funds transfers have already been made" she said before pausing.

"Wow, that's great" he couldn't hide his pleasure.

"I really appreciate the work you guys have put up thus far. I would like you to give a follow-up thank you speech after me. Is that okay?" she checked for his affirmation.

"It's all good" he responded boldly.

Upon exhausting their top management sideline meeting, Jason rejoined his wife who felt somewhat subdued in the midst of tipsy and drunk party guests. The music blast from the D.J.'s Technics system was engulfing any sound that could come from the background conversations. The eruption of a high musical sound had not already pumped the spirits of party enthusiasts higher but also invited some gate crushers from the neigbourhood, but they could not enter at loose will owing to the manning of the gate by the JCC guys. Jilian had to come to their rescue, but any gate crusher needed her permission first. She also advised his workers to call their girlfriends and boyfriends but she was strict about it understandably to avoid inconveniences given that the party had come to life at very short notice.

By the time the clock struck 8 bells her yard had turned into a beer festival venue with bottles and cans of drinks lying everywhere. Jilian had officially spoken to Delia on the sidelines of the festivities, but the conversation was only confined to formalities. Neither did it make Delia exonerate her from negative perception as an arrogant and bossy individual nor feel so comfortable around her. Jason noticed that all was not well, but did not want to show it, instead he organized her some red wine. For someone who was not used to freefall boozing, the taking of the three glasses at one go was unprecedented. On the isolated occasions she had sipped wine, she had bever gone beyond a glass. After her third glass, she was not only feeling tipsy but intoxicated.

"Is your boss married" she drunkenly inquired whilst looking at Jason straight in the eye.

"I thought I told you that she isn't Delia" he responded with a firm voice.

"The way she is looking at you, and the way she is dancing with that guy she is calling Paul is out of order somehow" she added.

He had felt as such about Jilian's behaviour that evening. The way she had danced with the drunk Paul had not only caused goosebumps in him but also make him view him as a predatory invader for their tango dance was somewhat suspect.

"Drink Paul, if you get fucked, I will give you a sleeping place. There are so many bedrooms here" she had said that whilst Jason was hearing and observing.

The JCC workers had exploded into a frenzy upon being told that they had been paid a thank-you bonus forthwith. The payment was a windfall so unbudgeted for expenditures, from the blues, became the talk of the party. The time was approaching midnight and the party mood had escalated to wild heights. Delia started complaining of drowsiness and Jason could also not casually handle seeing Jilian and Paul's party cordiality hence their decision to depart.
