"You knocked early today is everything okay," asked Thelma upon seeing Adam pitching up before the lunch hour.

"And they bought that true lie and let you go?" she rhetorically asked as she continued laughing.
"Why not? Isn't it an employee's right to be given a bed rest if they aren't feeling well?" he responded with some indulgent justification.
