Red, the eye color of the alphas.
Yellow, the eyes of the betas or omegas.
And blue, the eyes of the killers.
But is that really it?
Does the blue werewolf eyes truly mean being a killer?
Is it simply a different color or does it actually have a different purpose?
And if it does, what is it?
But no matter what the answer is, Derek will now have to accept the fact that his once shining golden eyes is now a dark blue in color.

*Sniff* *Sniff*
At the Hale house, inside of the one of it's room, a dark haired teen can be seen holding a hand mirror while crying.
This teen is none other than Derek and he is currently staring at the new colors of his own eyes.
Derek can feel it from within his whole being, as he stares at his eyes, his soul was being painted in black.
It's as if something is changing from within him.
It is a feeling that is slowly but surely eating his own mind.
*Creek~*
As Derek stares at the mirror, the door of his room, which was left unclosed by a few inches, was suddenly fully opened.
And what comes in after that is someone who knows the truth.
"Mom... *Sniff*"
This person is none other than Talia Hale, his mother.

Talia had known the things that her son and his pack has been doing.
Just like some certain werewolves, Talia herself has a mental link on them.
However, unlike theirs, Talia's mental link only allows her to know what they're feeling.
Nothing more, nothing less.
That was why, no matter how much they try to hide, she will know when some things were happening behind her back.
However, although she knew that things like this were happening, Talia would only watch from the side.
It is to see if her children would be able to solve those things on their own but, certainly, not all outcomes were desirable.
Like right now, things were far from what she or any one of them wanted.
And now all Talia could do is regret not helping as she sense her son's conflicting emotions.
Sadness, despair, anger, fear, and... disgust.
Unlike before, no more joy, pride, or even self trust can be felt from her older son.
As she stares at the young werewolf, Derek went back to staring at his own eyes.
Talia initially thought that Peter would be able to teach and help Drake, on how to be an alpha.
She thought this because her brother had observe not only her, but even her husband when he was young.
Peter's observation skills were top notch if compared to others, that is why Talia decided to trust him.
But it seems that she trusted him too much.
She trusted Peter to the point of where, her own judgement was blinded by it.
"Derek."
Talia lovingly spoke as she crunched down to the same eye level as him.
"I did something... Something terrible."
Derek, however, tried to avoid looking at her eyes as he speaks.
"I know."
The adult female responded, making the young beta relax a little and say.
"My eyes... they're different."
"Different, but still beautiful... Just like the rest of you."
Talia said before hugging him and making him fall sleep, just like what she used to do when the twin was still a toddler.

The next day.
"Yes! A new One Piece episode!"
When Derek arrived at their treehouse, he heard a familiar loud and joyful voice.
The same voice that Derek previously thought he wouldn't hear ever again.
Because of that, he hurriedly run to the place where it is coming from and once he get in there, he saw the alive and strong Cassandra watching her favorite anime.
All the while she is playing with her... werewolf claws.
'Claws...?'
When he saw that, Derek's mind stopped working as he just stood in his place and watch her continue to do her thing.
After processing what he just saw, a strong feeling of joy conquered Derek's whole body that began to wash away all of his previous negative thoughts.
And after staring at the blond haired teen in front of him, for a few more moments, Derek hurriedly and lovingly showered Cassandra a huge amount of hugs and kisses.
"Ah! Derek Stop! This is rape! Rape!"
Cassandra yelled out as she receives the tens of dozens of hugs and kisses that the Hale were giving.
Thankfully, Derek stop from doing more as he distance himself from her and suddenly apologized to her.
"Let's talk about that later, when Peter's with us."
This is the response that Derek got after teller her the whole truth about what happened yesterday night.
A few minutes after that, the other Hale couple finally arrived too.
They were from the Krasikeva residence, to get some new clothes for the revived teen.
After dressing up, Cassandra joined in the discussion that is happening between her packmates.
Yes, packmates, a term that Cassandra prefer to use than pack members.
After discussing with each other, Drake and the others decided to finally tell everything that happened to them to Talia.
From the decision that Drake made to let Paige knew the truth.
To how Mr. Rouk died.
Even how the two teen girl became a werewolf were mentioned.
And some other things like the weird tree, Peter's plan, etc.
Of course after they told these things to the matriarch of the Hale family, the twin hale were grounded for two whole weeks.
No going out, no playing, or even talking to their girlfriends.
A torture that the Hale brothers hardly endured.
And in the meantime, the two new betas were being taught by Talia.
Although Drake already taught the basics to her girlfriend, it is still far from what Talia could teach.
With her guidance, Paige and Cassandra learned what kind of werewolf she is.
How to fight like one as well as how to survive like one.
They were even taught about some secret advantages and disadvantages of being a werewolf.
Thanks to their focus on training, the two Krasikevas failed to notice that, Drake and his brother were finally freed.
But when they did, the first thing that they did was to talk to each other.
The first talk was Cassandra's case, although unexpected, Peter literally cried to the teen as he apologized to her.
As a result of that, Cassandra forgave him as well as Derek of course.
After all, although almost, none of them really died in the end.
There's also the fact that, Peter suggested and did his plan so that his nephew, Derek, could finally be honest with her.
Though the plan is not ideal, idiotic even, Cassandra understands that, not all people would react like how she or Paige did.
And that's why Peter and Derek resorted to their plan.
Or so that's what Cassandra thought when she forgave them.
However, although he had been forgiven, Peter was still forced to be removed from their pack, by the young alpha himself.
This is because Drake thinks that, it is more appropriate if it is Talia who will give Peter a punishment.
The reason for that is simple, it is because Drake believes that he would be hypocrite if he were to give someone else a punishment when he, himself, had made some too.
Though, this will be the last time that he will make a mistake.
Or that's what Drake truly hope so.
The next case was the fact that, Paige revealed the secret she promised to keep.
The brown haired teen explained that she and her cousin have this natural gut feeling that would tell them whenever one of them is hiding something from the other.
And that's how Cassandra discovered that she was keeping something from her.
Once she learned this, Cassandra began to continuously bother Paige about it.
She did this until one day, Paige suddenly yelled her the truth.
And that's how Cassandra learned the secret from her cousin.
After knowing that, Drake scolded Paige by saying.
"You should've told me at that time then."
And her response was.
"At that time, you were having a problem with your bite so I just thought that it was something that we can talk with later on... I'm sorry."
Hearing her words, Drake suddenly felt responsible too and even desired for the current him to beat the past him for his idiotic decisions.
"Alright, alright that's enough. It all turned out to be fine anyway, so why don't we just learn from this and move on? Alright?"
Seeing that his brother was feeling responsible for all of the misfortune that just happened, Derek chimed in to their talk.
"Yep yep, although I'm the one that's on fault, for real, I vote for that too."
Hearing a weirdly joyful voice, all of the members of Drake's pack, looked at it's source.
"Opss, what I meant to say is that. If I just talked to Derek as soon as I learned the truth, then this whole thing wouldn't really happened so, yeah I'm sorry for the trouble that I caused."
Seeing that all eyes were on her, Cassandra, the teen that almost died, explained to her packmates before she bowed her head and apologized.
"Alright, that's enough. There's really no point on blaming someone as we all made some mistakes, one way or another. And so, just like what Derek said, let's just learn from this."
Drake said to his betas, who all happily agreed.
And with that, the pack that Drake leads decided that they would never keep a secret from each other ever again.
Soon after that meeting, the third week after the accident arrived and along with it is the fact that things finally returned to normal again.
The hunters and the other werewolves, that were staying in Beacon Hills when that accident happened, had already left the Beacon Hills County itself.
And with that, no more people died, and the peaceful life of the teen werewolves continues.

December 12 2003.
More than a month have passed since the day Cassandra almost died.
Inside of the Beacon Hills Preserve, four blurry shadows can be seen moving from one tree to another.
Two of said shadows are wolves and the other two are werewolves.
The werewolves were being left behind by the wolves as they took a few sudden turns, left and right.
And soon enough, the group of wolves and werewolves reached a small pond.
But instead of stopping, all of them just jumped through it.
Though, no matter how much the werewolves tried, the wolves still reached the red ribbon, that is tied to a couple of trees, first.
"This is sooo unfair!!"
One of the werewolf shouted as all of them stopped running.
"Why does the two of you have a wolf form while we don't!?"
She added while pouting and staring at the two wolf in front of her.
One of the wolf is black in color with the size of 9 feet and 3 inches, while the other one is colored white with the size of 7 feet and 8 inches.
The black wolf with red eyes is Drake while the white, which has white eyes, is Paige.
"Didn't mom already explained that to us?"
Derek said as he went to Drake and give him a backpack that has their clothes.
After getting the bag, Drake and Paige went and hide behind the trees to shift into their human form and wear their clothes.
"That's right. She said I'm a rare breed called, the Zeta werewolf."
Paige spoke when she finished shifting back and started to put on some clothes.
"She said that it is most known as the alpha's left hand because of their loyalty or something."
While she is speaking, Paige put on a black t-shirt that is larger than her size, it is obviously Drake's.
"Yes yes, we know that. She even said that you're faster than an alpha but weaker than a beta. However, clearly that's wrong.
I mean, you can at least keep up with Drake, who's the fastest werewolf in this city, and also a little stronger than me and Derek."
Hearing Paige words, Cassandra began to voice out her own complaints to her cousin.
"You can even shift into a big wolf and... what else can you do again?"
She ended her sentence with a question of her own.
"Mental link, she also has a mental link with us, her pack."
Drake chimed in to their talk as he tighten up his belt.
"It allows her feel some of our emotions and even find our locations within the radius of 10 kilometers.
Then there's the danger sense, which can let her detect dangers towards her, or any members of her pack, before anyone else."
"Well, you also have that kind of sense right?"
Drake added before Paige asked him, in which the former nodded at as a response.
The couple then approach the other two werewolves, after they finished wearing their clothes and fixed themselves.
"The question is, how is all of that possible?"
Derek asked his twin when they stopped walking in front of him and Cassandra.
"I would say, it's a perk of my bite."
Drake proudly replied to him with a smile.
"Yeah right, let's just go with that."
Cassandra and Paige rolled their eyes at Drake's reply before the later scoffed at him.
"I mean you've been biting me for over a year now, so I won't find it weird if that really is the reason."
Paige added before she began to walk away from the group.
"Pfft."
Derek and Cassandra laugh at her words before they followed her and went to the treehouse.
Seeing their reactions, Drake could only shake his head as he followed behind them.
