Stolen and I watched over a vast open field that was prone to bandit attacks. Stolen was a part of the king's army and was a high-level knight. He was usually quiet about his feelings but always talked to me about everything.
" I'm worried. What if I make a terrible mistake? " Stolen said to me.
" We'll be fine. I know you'll make a great decision. " I responded back.
" Thank you. " He responded back.
I leaned onto Stolen, and I thought I saw something move in the trees. I climbed on top of him and saw a large army approaching the castle. Stolen seemed to see it as well, as he began ordering the other knights below us. He gave me some small, custom, armor and told me to stay on the lookout. He moved down and left me alone. I saw him forming his army, readying to fight. He, and his army, charged at the incoming attack. The army seemed small and looked like we could win, but then a much larger army came from the other side of the hill and had large trebuchets and began launching fireballs and large cannonballs at the castle. I warned then, but it was too late. The king's army was already falling apart. Stolen was able to get out of the crowd. He began to climb onto the side of the castle, which was beginning to fall apart. I was stuck on the top of the castle. The stairs were blown off, and there were no ladders. I could not jump, or I would die. I was dead either way. Stolen made it to me, and covered me with his body, as the two of us were crushed under the rubble of the castle walls. I could feel my bones being turned into dust as the bricks fell on top of me. I could feel my spine snap in half when I fell on my back onto the stone floor. I could feel covered in Stolen's, cold, blood. I could feel myself slipping away. I then woke up with stolen on top of me, with no rubble or a stone path. I could feel warm dirt and smell charcoal-filled air. Stolen got off of me, and the two of us were faced with a large, rusted, gate. I could see more around me and saw the ground filled with red ash that seemed like dirt. There were rivers of lava and geysers of dark smoke. I could hear people (or were they even people anymore?) scream, moan, and groan with sadness and agony. There was a never-ending wall, from all sides, that the gate opened. It opened with a shrieking creak, and the two of us were pulled in front of a female demon with a large smirk.
