The user would stand up inside the unit after having suited up in a state of the art bodysuit. The explanation was that just because your mind was going to be doing the work your body still needed support to deal with the strain.
It was further explained that the bodysuits would record your movements and help give real time data analysis of how your body is reacting in the game. It wasn't just enough the Boss said to have one hundred percent realism but to make every part of you feel as if you had physically transported into the game. The boss then explained that the first few hours of today were going to be getting baselines and getting characters set up. When asked how they would make characters for a game that wasn't out yet the boss just chuckled and said he had written them up a training simulation. Little did they know the simulation created was the world Aiden had lived in for a year. He would them a world where humanity had isolated itself and built massive citadels to keep out the monsters. The training would be to prepare them for what the world could look like in New Dawn because the final landscape of the game wouldn't be determined until the beta testers entered the world and their New Life experiences would alter the world of New Dawn.
The team got into their bodysuits and marveled at how it felt like a second skin. They felt a sudden surge of power through them and the solution they would feed from start to fill up the tubes as they wondered what would this training game be like. Darkness soon took hold and each of the players was put into character creation. The options seem to be endless with everything from humans to massive large beast men.
