William tried to step past Her and catch up to the wraith in Nehe's form, but the incarnation's murky eyes abruptly turned grave. At a velocity belying Her immense frame, She thrust Her gigantic hand ensconced in putrid insect eggs. To William, it resembled a roiling, suppurating firmament barring his path.

Roar!

A deafening bellow resounded in William's ears. It was like an enraged beast cautioning a hunter bent on injuring its young.

They're sure screaming out happily now!

William didn't slacken despite the roar. Before his foe could cloak him in darkness, he unleashed numerous lightning bolts that shredded the tranquil firmament, rending holes to the elemental plane.
