In a flash, the opposing figure was encased in ice. Floral calmly tapped her magical medium, causing the ice crystal wall to shatter and disappear.
She stepped forward and delicately removed the antler crown from the figure's head. She turned to William and asked, "Lord William, what do you think now?"
William didn't need his Undead Detection. The moment the antler crown was taken off, he felt an intense aura of death coming from the figure.
"Mm…" William nodded.
Floral then looked at Ebony. His face was frozen, unable to show any expression, but his angry glare spoke volumes.
"This is why I gave you the antler crown. And, I'm sure the Holy Tree Matriarch has told you many times to remove the crown in front of outsiders. Yet, your desire for power in Emerald Province is stronger than your devotion to the Matriarch?"
