Chapter 7 - Chapter Six

"Damn he wasn't lying." Eric said as a large truck with a long hydraulic bed slowly dropped his Shelby off in front of Anna's house and once it was fully on the ground the tow truck driver gave him the keys before leaving without a word, "That guy was a bit strange but I guess when you have to do this all of the time you get tired of small talk."

"It came out better than it would have if I had tried to fix it." Cooper told them as he examined it closely and Eric knew James was right about the man being a grease monkey, "Hey Eric would you mind if I being her into the garage? I haven't had a chance to be in a car like this and I want to see how it feels."

"Sure." Eric said with a small laugh as he tossed the keys to him and they watched as Cooper happily walked up to the Shelby before Eric's phone began to ring and he quickly answered it when he saw it was Jack, "What's up?"

"Did your ride get dropped off yet?!" Jack asked in a panic and Eric told him that it had just been delivered, "Whatever you do don't get it in!"

"Cooper!" Eric yelled in a panic as he dropped his phone and the others were confused as he sprinted across the yard but he knew it wouldn't make it. Everything seemed to slow down for Eric when the ignition turned over before an explosion sent him flying back into lawn and hitting his head on the hard dirt. As his vision faded he could see the girls screaming and James running towards him. When he woke up he could see a flashlight shining into his eyes and slapped it away as he tried to get up but was quickly stopped by Anna and one of the men they had met a few nights ago.

"Calm down Eric." Jack told him in a serious tone and as Eric looked around he realized that they were in the upstairs office of the club, "You've been out for two days and we're trying our best to keep your crew in a stable mindset."

"Those bastards killed Cooper." Eric said as he sat up with venom in his words and Anna put a hand on his shoulder to calm him down, "I'm going to make them pay..."

"It's time we finally dealt with them." A woman said as she walked up to them with a cup of water and as Eric he drank it quickly when he realized just how thirsty he was, "Jack they went too far this time and there's no telling who they'll try to kill next."

"I know but if we go into this blind then things are going to get worse." Jack told her with a grim look before looking at Eric, "First we have to get you another ride and luckily I have one that'll fit you perfectly."

"Lead the way." Eric said as he stood up and he could feel that a couple of his ribs were bruised but decided not to say anything. They followed Jack down the stairs and towards a door on the far side of the club.

"Eric isn't that the guy who delivered you Shelby?" Anna said as she stopped in the middle of the dance floor and Eric anger covered his face as he saw the man at one of the side tables with a girl sitting on his lap.

"Anna give me your keys!" Eric yelled as the man pushed the girl off of him when he saw the two looking at him and Anna hurriedly gave them to him as he began to run out of the club. He chased after the man and when he got outside he watched the man climb inside the white GT-R he had seen at Kane's hideout. Eric sprinted towards Anna's Camaro the moment he saw it and as he was starting it the man drive down one of the side roads. Unluckily for him Eric had seen where he had gone and the Camaro's tires squealed as he slammed on the gas.

"Kane that Eric kid's still alive!" The man yelled into his phone as headlights shined through his back windshield, "He's hot on my ass and he's pissed!"

"Where are you?!" Kane asked as he ran to his Shelby and the man wasn't sure until they made it onto one of the main roads, "You need to be more specific!"

"We're on the multilevel overpass down-" The man was cut off when Eric slammed into his side on one of the curves in the bridge and pinned him against the now broken concrete barrier. He panicked while trying to get his car to start again as Eric began to push his car into the barrier, breaking the concrete completely. Eric backed up as one of the GT-R's back tires hung over the edge and looked the man in the eyes before slamming on the gas and sending the car falling off of the high bridge. Eric raced back to the club when he saw blue lights coming and when he got there he saw Jack and the others waiting for him outside.

"Did you get him?" James asked with a glare as Eric stepped out of the Camaro and he gave him a nod as the heard the distant sound of an ambulance, "Good."
