Cussing while looking up, Lisa caught her balance faster before she fell. "We are so screwed."
"Why?" Cassie asked, following suit.
Irritated, Lisa replied, "let me assume you haven't asked me that."
"Don't be an old cranky lady to me, young lady."
"Sorry. I am thirsty and tired." A smile appeared on Lisa's face. "Let it rain, please. I would love that. I will lift my head high and get some water with my tongue."
Matching Lisa's smile, Cassie responded, "that would be an amazing sight, sweet love. Rain, come."
Lisa said nothing.
