Chapter 3 - A warm welcome

"—Creek!"

Slightly opening the door, I peek through the gap to see if anyone's around or not.

"Seems like they're not up yet... That's good."

I say to myself before carefully stepping my foot in and gently placing my shoes on the floor.

Keeping my steps dim and slow, making sure that I don't make any noise I carefully walk in.

"You're late... "

It was a familiar voice coming from the behind of me, making me flinch in fear...

Slowly turning my head behind as cold sweat slides behind my ears I reply—

"Y-Yo... Good morning... Ying... "

It was my little sister Ying Lu. She is a brunette making twin tails side by side her hair and with a cute and fair face. She's younger from me by three years which means that she's fifteen.

She was sitting on the furnished floor right in front of the main entrance with our pet cat with fat belly, Timmy.

He was lazing on her lap and yawning like usual... Just how much does this perverted fat cat love the legs of a girl?

There are dark bags under her eyes as though she's tired or didn't get enough sleep.

"Y-Ying... "

"What is it?"

She said in an annoyed manner. I can sense that she's angry.

"Are you okay? Could it be that... You didn't sleep?"

Before I could get my reply, I notice a wrecked nerve appear on her forehead.

"Oh you're finally home?"

Said a woman coming out of the corridor holding a steamy hot pot with woolen gloves.

She had silky and purple long hair which she would tie and place around her left shoulder.

Her figure was curvy and perfect with medium sized breasts and tall height. She was wearing a pink shirt over a yellow top and a caramel colored long skirt.

Oh and wrapped around her chest to knees was a white apron with a penguin's symbol in the middle.

"Aunt Yang... "

Yes, that beauty was none other then my big sister like figure- Aunt Yang Lu.

She's a cheerful woman and kind as sun, but at the same time she's cold as ice when angry.

And perhaps I might face her anger very soon.

"Do-You-Know-What-Time-It is right now?"

Taking a look at my wrist watch I reply- "Eight in the morning."

"Nine" corrected me my sister, still sitting on the floor with tired face.

"Anyways... What's going on here?" I questioned my aunt in reference for Ying sitting on the floor.

Even though the answer was obvious, I still asked her anyways as formality.

"Your sister has been sitting in front of the main entrance since the morning waiting for you to arrive!"

Knew it...

I notice that my sister, Ying's cheeks slightly turn pink. Now that's cute.

"A-Anyways!" said my sister in a flustered tone "Why didn't you come home last night!"

She questions, pointing her finger towards me in anger.

"I was at my friend's home working on a project... It was late at night and my phone's battery was dead which is why he offered me to sleep at his place."

Of course what I said was an utter lie. There's no way I could tell my aunt and sister that I sleep with random women every weekend!

"Oh...so is that the reason why you didn't pick up my calls?"

"Yes aunt Yang... I'm sorry." I bow my head to her as an apology.

"Just be sure you let us know when you're late!"

"Yes, I'll try to!" I reply before scratching my head with a smile.

Then turning my face toward Ying I teasingly say to her—

"That aside... Were you sitting in front of the entrance the whole night waiting for my arrival?"

"Wha... N-No... "

"Oh my... That's so cute —"

"—MEOWWW!!!"

"WHAT THE—"

Ying threw our fat pet cat Timmy straight on my face. The cat lands on my face, crawls it's way to the top of my head and jumps to the floor.

As I turn my face back to Ying I notice tears welling up at the corner of her eyes, her face was also red as a tomato due to shyness. Flustered, she replies-

"Big brother you pervert! Siscon! Molester!"

Saying which she swiftly stood up and runs to her room. I notice her legs were staggering. Just how long did she sit in the floor waiting for me?

"What the — why is she such a cliched Tsundere! What wrong did I do? Darn it! I really can't get girls at all!"

Sigh Jin...just try to." Said my aunt, sighing and shrugging her shoulders.

"They're just too complicated for me to understand!"

She snickers at my statement.

"Anyway Jinghe... I know that you just arrived home after working hard on project."

"Yes?"

"—But can you get me some items from the nearby grocery store? I need them to prepare lunch and dinner."

She said before handing me a paper list as long as a snake... Well even though this isn't the first time, my eyes would squint everytime she assigns me a job, especially when she gives me a list this long.

"Um...very well, that's fine by me."

"That's my boy! No and get 'em!"

Giving out a long breath out of my lungs, I nod my head and walk out of the main entrance on my to the the grocery store.

I live with my family in an apartment so I pressed the button to elevator waiting for it's arrival.

And while I was at it, waiting while stomping my feet-

"Beep!"

"Huh?"

It was the beeping of my phone. I take it out of my pocket and switching it on I realize that it's a text message...

From someone who can make me smug upon receiving a simple text.

"It's her... "

It is from the woman I love, Qiang Lu.
