I messed up. I've barely been here an hour and I blew it. Ok, Stevonnie, what would Connie do? Connie's smart! Connie would make a list!
What we've learned:
-Our bubbles work here
-SUPERHEROES ARE REAL
-Using unnatural powers in public requires a license
-Our bubbles can be bouncy! Debris bounces off at a high velocity if we're scared! Steven can't (couldn't) do that!
-Stevonnie (Steven?) still glows when stressed :(
-SUPERHEROES ARE REAL
-Being arrested SUCKS
-Stevonnie has weird fingerprints. Fusion thing?
-Burning hair smells gross
-Stevonnie is heat resistant. New fusion power!
-People here typically only have 1 power. Stick to bubbles?
-SUPERHEROES ARE REAL
-Most people here have powers
-SUPERHEROES ARE REALLY REAL HERE AUDDHSISUT
-We're in Japan
-Stevonnie (Steven) inherited the gem translation thingy. No wonder they seemed to speak English in space, they sound like your native language!
-We lost our phones
-We're alone in Japan without a phone and we're just a kid oh gods we don't even have papers Steven didn't even get a birth certificate oh stars oh stars-

Stevonnie began to panic. They were prone to anxiety in the most mild of situations, and this was far beyond that. They barely noticed as the detective that had been interrogating them draped a shock blanket around their shoulders and unlocked their cuffs.
Officer Tsukauchi's face had morphed into Blue Zircon, the screams of Yellow and Blue Diamond swirling around them in a tornado of glowing blue butterflies. Zircon's eyes morphed into Garnet's disappointed triple glare. Stevonnie couldn't breath.
They didn't notice when Tsukauchi made a phone call, nor when the tall, domineering woman entered the room and unzipped an opening on her sleeve.
As the gas filled the room, Stevonnie finally relaxed and passed out.
