Chapter 76 - Like mother like daughter

Alison was putting her coat on when Zachary came back out.

He looked vaguely alarmed, "Is something wrong?"

"Sienna asked me to check on Georgiana Borges," Alison replied, picking her bag up and slipping her shoes on, "I think something's happened."

"I'm sorry to cut this short, but this is important!" Alison called over her shoulder as she turned the doorknob.

A warm hand grabbed her other arm and held on to her, stopping her from leaving.

Alison turned in surprise to find Zachary shrugging his coat on as well.

"What are you doing?" She asked confusedly.

Zachary shot her an unreadable look, his chocolate eyes were dark and intense.

"Do you think I'll let you go alone?" He asked, "I'm coming with you."

They drove so fast that Alison expected them to get caught by the police, but no one did.

"I got it, thanks. Catch you later," Zachary clicked his Bluetooth headset to hang up the call with Damon.
