Sienna blinked the rainwater out of her eyes and peered into the dim interior of the car.
But the driver got out with an umbrella and came around, holding it above her.
All of a sudden, the rain was no longer persistently falling on her. She shivered a little as she stared up into a pair of deep blue eyes.
Eric Ramsey looked at her with concern and repeated himself, "Get in."
Sienna numbly moved towards the car when she stopped short, turning back to Eric with a panicky look.
"I can't," She told him, "I'll get your car wet."
Not for the first time, Eric couldn't believe that Sienna was for real. Any girl would be dying to sit in his car, but Sienna didn't want to hitch a ride because she was worried about his car's condition.
He dragged an exasperated hand down his face.
