His hand roamed jerkily until it touched something cylindrical - a glass, it must have been what he had been drinking.
He smashed it on the floor, making Vivianne squeal and blindly, he reached around the floor until he touched a shard.
Then he clenched the shard tightly in his fist, feeling sharp pain bloom in his hand and warm blood drip down his fingers.
Vivianne gasped and he took advantage of the burst of clarity that the pain offered to force his eyes open and lunge upwards, slamming into the wall as he lost his balance.
