"Aria Estelle Aldrich! Based on the final court decision, it is proved that you were guilty for the attempted murder on Princess Cariessa Kellie Somerset. Therefore, you should sentenced to instant execution for your crime!" the judge read my sentence. People inside the courts murmured to each other. Right.. The daughter of Marquess Aldrich has tried to harm the princess in order to gain the attention of Duke Carlise's son.
"On the other hand, the other members of Marquess Aldrich will be spare and will be demoted from Marquess to Viscount. The court ends." The judge ended the court session.
I looked up to the Judge who read my sentence in front of me. A teardrop fell on my cheeks. My body freezed by the thought that I will die soon. My mouth wanted to protest so hard but I was too stunned.
I'm glad my family will be spare but they will be demoted as Viscount. I looked on my right side and I saw my father's poker face. Mother was surprised but she just stood next to father. My brother didn't even took a glance at me but I could felt his disappointment from afar despite how he much he hates me. My sister was not here with them. I wonder what does she feel if she knows about her sister's execution. She might feel happy because there will be no one who could bully her. Now I realised how bad I am to my family. Instant regret and guilty filled up my heart. What on earth did I do? Why did I disappoint my family so much? Look to what happened now.
I looked on my the left to see Marylene, the Princess' best friend and saw a smirk on her face. She must see me as a joke now. Well.. I will be dying. I will die soon. The thought of dying suddenly scared me. No! I don't want to die! I looked to the Emperor on the throne whom looked back at me with disgust. My eyes were swelling with tears.
" Your Majesty! Please! I don't want to die! Please spare me! I promise I will change myself. I rather not living in this kingdom than dying. I rather to be kicked out from this kingdom. Please your majesty! Spare my life! I begged Your majesty!" I cried in regrets. I want to live. I will do whatever to stay alive. I want to change.
" NO!!!" a thunderous voice roar through the court.
"You have harmed the princess for countless time. How dare you asked for forgiveness and to spare your life! You should be grateful that I had spared your family member's life, thanks to your father's contribution for the kingdom. Knights!! Take her to the excecution hall this instant!" the Emperor commanded. I was alerted by His majesty command. I looked to my family.
"Father! Mother! Please do something! I promise I will change. Brother!! Amber!! Help me!" I begged hardly.
However, all of them just stood there without moving any inches from there. My heart aches more when all of them stand and went away from the court. The knights held both of my hands and dragged me to the execution hall.

At the execution hall, they threw me inside a well-casted spell cage. The guards locked me up while they are setting up the tools for my execution. I sat down with my mind blank. I don't know what to think anymore after the death sentence has fall upon me. The executor just show me their disgusted face. Some of the guards nearby just show their pity face.
"Hey.. I heard Prince Carlisto wanted an audience with the lady. Will he really come here?" I heard someone mentioned that the 1st prince requested to meet me before the execution.
"Yeah, he will. This rotten lady. Does she forgot how overprotective is Prince Carlisto toward the princess. His highness will not let her die so peacefully for sure." Another person said.
My body shivered in fears as I heard the prince's name.How on earth have I forget about the first prince! I'm sure that His Highness will let me suffer enough while I'm on the verge of dead. The prince will torture me mercilessly. I panicked and tried to escape from the cage. I rather kill myself before he get to me. However, there's nothing in the cage.
"Your Highness the Prince Carlisto Keese Somerset has arrived!" someone from the hall entrance door announced the prince arrival.I should do something before he got the chance to torture me. I tried to find something around the cage.
"Your highness." I heard someone greet the prince. I looked up through the bar of the cage. I saw a silhouette of a man in front of the guards. I narrowed my eyes to see the person clearer. The man wore a war armor with a dragon crest on the chest. I cannot see his face due to the headgear.
"Where is the one who tried to murder my sister?" I heard a voice asking from the direction of the man with full armor. Sister? That must be the first prince! No! I need to find something.
I quickly search for something sharp around the cage and I saw a shining knife at the back of one of the guard who was guarding close to the cage they kept me in. I quickly run to the guard and snatch the knife from his back. The guard was shocked and tried to snatch back the knife from me but fortunately, I was faster. I run toward the center of the cage where no one could ever reach me. The prince saw the commotion that happened and quickly come to stop.
"NO!! Don't you dare kill yourself! Guards!!" the prince said and try to use his power to stop me.
However to no avail he failed. The hall does not allowed any power or mana inside so that any criminal with magic cannot used their power escape. I used the chance to quickly put up the sword on my neck and sliced my neck quickly. I could feel the blood gushing out from my neck. The pain is bearable than my broken heart. My breath hitched due to the pain. My body starting to lost energy so my body felt down to the floor. I looked toward the cage door and saw the guards trying to open the door. The prince seems so frustrated by looking him alking forth and back waiting for the guards for how long trying to open the cage. Everything that they did looked like a slowmotion. I smiled. They won't make it. Soon after, my vision seems blurry and I could felt a single tear drops.
"Oh.. For the sake of Goddess Clemencia. Open the door faster!!" I heard the prince yelling toward the guards at the door.
Why am I dying so slow? I search for the knife that I used to sliced my neck just now. When I found it, I put the knife up high parallel to my chest and stabbed myself hard with the final remaining energy that I still have. More pain coming to my body and darkness has overtook my sight. My body also cannot move anymore. The chaos sounds around me started to be faint. The last thing I could feel was there was someone holding my hand but that was just a brief.
